Down the Rabbit Hole

One of the many fixtures of West Sonoma County( besides Mom’s Apple Pie, Kozlowsky Farms, Korbel Winery – I could go on but I would be getting off on a tangent) since 1994 has been Ace Cider in the Hole, or just simply Ace Cider, a micro cider mill located on the northern most edge of Sebastopol just past Andy’s

Recognize the lyrics to the musical “The Little Shop of Horrors”? So I’ve got a one of a kind nursery just outside of the town of Sebastopol that you must visit right now as you pay homage to Halloween. It’s called California Carnivores and it sells only carnivorous plants, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which is perfect

Wine Not

Oh I think I made a joke, get it – whine not. What I’m trying to say is that both our hotels are in the wine country of Sonoma County, Northern CA, but there is a whole lot of other non-winery, family, group, couple, dog kind of stuff to do. If you just came from one

Stomp!

Well not exactly stomp, but stroll, saunter, maybe even run, on a self-guided tour through four different wineries. Every wanted to walk among the vines and learn about what it takes to get those puppies growing and producing the grapes.  Right now there are four participating wineries, Mantanzas Creek, Paradise Ridge, Balletto Vineyards and Mauritson Winery
